What’s the opportunity?
AppHub is seeking a creative and strategic Head of Brand Design to lead our brand design team and elevate our visual identity across all platforms. This role is pivotal in developing and refining our branding strategies to ensure they align with our company’s goals and resonate with our target audience.
This role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, all geared towards making the brand memorable and appealing to ecommerce merchants.

What you'll need:

    • 4+ years of relevant design experience within brand, marketing, and digital designInsight into the ecommerce
    • B2B SaaS space is highly preferred
    • Exceptional core design skills—pixel perfection, typography, layout, composition, interaction, and visual expression
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and feedback clearly.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
    • Experience with prototyping, motion design, and illustrationAbility to work autonomously, be proactive, and drive momentum
    • Ability to think through complex design challenges and navigate ambiguity
    • Experience with evolving and maintaining design systems
    • Ability to quickly iterate, share ideas, and receive feedback
    • Be comfortable working with multiple teams across multiple apps
    • Ability to leverage customer-centric insights to create work that meets business goalsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional leadership to build and implement strategic go-to-market plans
    • A deep love for developing and building small brands

What you'll do:

    • Brand Strategy Development: Craft and enhance the visual identity and style guides of our brands, ensuring consistency and coherence across all media. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop branding strategies that effectively communicate our values and objectives.
    • Creative Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of designers through the creative process from concept to execution. Provide guidance and feedback, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and growth while ensuring adherence to our brand guidelines.
    • Design Execution: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials, including website graphics, app store assets, promotional videos, and sales collateral. Work closely with the product team to integrate branding seamlessly into our product offerings
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with product managers, marketers, and sales teams to ensure consistent communication of the brand message. Contribute design insights that enhance user experience in product development discussions.
    • Market and User Research: Keep abreast of the latest trends in design and ecommerce, conducting user research to gauge brand perception and uncover areas for enhancement.
    • Brand Guardianship: Monitor brand consistency across all channels, resolving any discrepancies in brand portrayal.
    • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external agencies and build relationships with stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables and expand brand influence.
    • Performance Metrics: Set and oversee KPIs for brand impact, adapting branding strategies based on analytical feedback.
    • Innovation and Experimentation: Promote and pilot novel design technologies and methods to maintain a dynamic and appealing brand presence.
