Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
• Certifications Required for non-ABEM Physicians: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance and promote team support.
• 24-hour physician coverage model with 24-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to approximately 6,000 patients each year at The Medical Center at Albany, a critical access hospital with a 7-bed emergency department.
• Deliver timely, high-quality emergency care backed by Stroke Ready certification.
• EMR: EPIC.

Living and Working in Albany:

• Albany, KY (metro area approximately 6.5K) is the county seat of Clinton County, Kentucky, nestled in the Cumberland foothills near the Tennessee border.
