Local Team Collaboration:

• Strong collaboration between all (4) physicians and (22) CRNAs on the team.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a US Residency.
• Board certification in Anesthesia.
• Active FL license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have prior leadership experience, whether formal or informal, and a desire to continue developing and advancing their leadership career.

Scheduling:

• 13 weeks of vacation time.
• Ideal working schedule with limited call.

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a Medical Director position which includes clinical duties in addition to administrative.
• Must be comfortable with regional anesthesia.
• Lakewood Ranch Medical Center cases include general, ortho (total/partial joint, shoulder, hand, foot & ankle), Spine and Neuro (discectomies, laminectomies, craniotomies, spinal cord stimulator), Uro, Plastics, OB/GYN, EP/IR, and other services.
• Awards: Forbes Best Hospitals, Leapfrog Top Teaching Hospital. Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, receiving its Gold Seal of Approval with demonstrated excellence in surgical safety, infection prevention, perioperative care, and outpatient surgery quality metrics.
