Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 4 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.
• Round Monday – Friday with two doctors for an ADC of 40 patients.
• Open ICU with Tele Intensivist backup, but the doctors will see the ICU patients.
• We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
• Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
• Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Physician Assistant.
• Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with option for contract for 9 – 12 shifts/month.
• Flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
• Work in coordination with a doctor for patient management on your own patients.
• Utilize Magnetech with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
• Managing patients from admission to discharge.

• Manhattan boasts a vibrant college scene, featuring the flagship campus of Kansas State University. Rewards and Compensation:

• Salaried position at $770/shift for the first 9 shifts/month and $870/shift for any shifts over 9 per month.
• Quality bonus incentive, target $2,500+ per year.
