We are hiring a Lead Hospitalist/Associate Program Director. This is a rare opportunity to serve in a leadership capacity while providing day hospitalist care to patients.
Local Team Collaboration:
- We take pride in our well-established team of 16 Physicians and 6 APPs.
- Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Two years of hospitalist experience required.
- Leadership acumen with evidence of lead or leadership involvement in the current position.
- We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for visas are covered by Sound.
Scheduling:
- Days 7 am-7 pm - 7 on - 7 off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Duties: Serve as content expert in representing the hospitalist team at monthly meetings with operations and/or hospital leadership. Serve as medical director if the medical director is on PTO or unavailable. Serve as the team lead for day-to-day questions.
- Hospitalist Duties: Manage admissions, especially during morning hours, round on patients, and manage rapid responses for own patients.
- Open ICU with minimal expectation of our team - full critical care support.
- No procedures or code blue response required.

Rewards and Compensation:
- Full-time yearly base salary of $294,000 + monthly stipend for administration duties
- Productive and quality incentives are provided in addition to the base salary.
- Commencement bonus and relocation allowance provided.
