About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated summer Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student or recent college graduate to explore the marketing field, build valuable skills, and contribute to critical projects while applying what you’ve learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios while also learning from industry professionals.
The Marketing Analyst Intern will support Sound Physicians’ Marketing team by analyzing healthcare and marketing data to inform targeting, segmentation, and campaign strategy. This role provides hands-on experience in healthcare market intelligence and B2B marketing analytics within a physician-led organization.
The Details: This is a full-time remote opportunity. 10-week internship that will run from June 1st through August 7th, 2026.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing and healthcare data to support segmented marketing campaigns and account targeting
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal systems and external healthcare data sources
- Support campaign performance analysis, testing, and ROI measurement
- Conduct market, provider, and competitive research to support growth strategies
- Translate data insights into clear summaries and recommendations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and strategy teams on ad hoc analytical projects

Education and Experience
- Currently enrolled, or a recent graduate, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, Health Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Familiarity with Definitive Healthcare, Leapfrog, CMS, AHRQ, or similar healthcare datasets and experience with data, analytics and reporting tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI etc. a plus
- Possess an understanding of segmentation and B2B or healthcare marketing concepts preferred
Pay Range
- $17.00-$20.00 hourly. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience, geographical location, and size/complexity of the program being supported.
