About the Role:
Sound Physicians’ Accounting team has an exciting opportunity with the potential to drive meaningful impacts to the team and organization.
The ideal candidate for the Sr Accounts Receivable Analyst will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual looking to work for a dynamic, growing company within the health care industry. A rounded accounting base, analytical thinking, innovative mindset and polished interpersonal skills for interaction with all levels of an organization are key to success in this role.
The Details: This role will require occasional work requirements on weekends or beyond normal daytime work hours associated with month-end closings (once monthly).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing offshores team daily cash posting process
- Researching payments, customer accounts and creating adjustments
- Liaison between regional accounting team and operational team
- Researching and resolving unapplied payments
- Assisting with the creation and implementation of new standardized processes
- Preparing journal entries and relevant support
- Performing general ledger reconciliations – monthly/quarterly/annually with supporting documentation
- Calculating allowance for bad debt working with our regional accounting team
- Supporting regional internal and external teams
- Other projects and duties as assigned

Knowledge:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, comfortable with other Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable, treasury, and general ledger accounting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate across all levels of the organization
Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in public/private accounting
Pay Range: Base salary of $65,000-85,000. Exact pay is determined based on experience, skills, education and geographic location.
