Your Role at impact.com:

As the Senior Product Manager for impact.com's Reporting teams, you'll be responsible for surfacing critical data and insights that enable brands and partners to make informed decisions and optimize their strategies within the marketplace.This role is responsible for overseeing teams that not only enable powerful data visualizations but also bring those visualizations together into meaningful and actionable reports and dashboards.

This role requires a candidate to deeply connect and understand the customer and business needs and partner closely with stakeholders to develop the strategic direction of the product and build out the coinciding roadmap. You will be responsible for influencing stakeholders and cross-organizational action by telling the customer’s story and substantiating recommendations for change.

Requires at least 6 years of experience as a product manager, with significant relevant experience in database technologies, report design, and data visualization.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a product backlog, prioritizing work according to strategic objectives, business needs, project evolution, and customer requirements.
  • Research, define, design, and manage the development of new features as well as upgrades to existing features. 
  • Use Product Management frameworks to align stakeholders and leadership on product direction/key decisions. 
  • Drive alignment across Growth Marketing, Engineering, Product, Design, Data Analytics, and Marketing teams to deliver on your vision and strategy.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your feature area, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of its full capabilities, business value, and role in the industry.
  • Lead projects with autonomy, proactively identifying and addressing issues impacting product delivery, making trade-off decisions, and managing team interdependencies.
  • Author key documents and lead reviews related to your feature area, and engage in discussions beyond your primary focus.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of launched products and features, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform future product development strategies.

  • A strong understanding of product design, user experience, and product testing.
  • Proven history and track record of setting goals/OKR’s and achieving success in taking platforms to market or generating growth
  • Action-oriented with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems by creating customer-first solutions and iterating quickly to get results
  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactically
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in agile development, defining product requirements and user stories
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, effectively influencing other teams to align on product strategy to ensure good communication and on-time execution.
  • Exhibit storytelling and persuasive influencing techniques that build trust with team and partners and establish long-term relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively through various methods.
  • Self-starter who has a problem-solving aptitude and inventive thinking skills
  • Possess the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets using tools like MySQL, BigQuery, Postman, and specialized platforms to extract meaningful insights and inform strategic decision-making in a timely manner. While comfortable working with data in various formats, including spreadsheets for smaller datasets, your strength lies in efficiently extracting insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Ability to analyze conversion/funnel data across the entire partner lifecycle (discovery, onboarding, and productivity) for both brands and partners to identify conversion drop-off points and optimize solutions to drive up marketplace liquidity and partnership engagement.
  • Familiarity with measuring and interpreting metrics that reflect the health and success of a two-sided marketplace (brands and partners).
  • Experience designing and conducting A/B tests and experiments to validate product improvements and optimize conversion rates.
