Job Description

Join our team as a Growth Development Representative  (GDR) and immerse yourself in a dynamic commercial and customer success environment. Develop business acumen, gain insights into sales and account management, and master lead generation and client retention within our Revenue organization.

As a GDR, you'll acquire new clients and nurture existing ones, while enhancing our data intelligence capabilities. Collaborate with Account Executives (AE), Customer Success Managers (CSM), and Revenue Operations (RO) to drive revenue growth from new and existing clients.

Here’s what you’ll do:

In the role of a GDR, your primary responsibilities include providing support to both our pre-sales and post-sales teams:

Sales focused responsibilities: 

  • Engage in outbound prospecting activities including cold calling, emailing, and utilizing social selling techniques to generate leads within Microblink's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and core markets
  • Conduct research to gather information on targeted companies and qualified leads, identifying appropriate contacts (name, phone, email), and potential sales opportunities to propel the sales process forward
  • Secure appointments for introductory discovery sessions, striving to surpass monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified lead generation
  • Assist in preparing content and facilitating client presentations and portal demos
  • Coordinate appointments by organizing and distributing materials, and managing follow-up from client meetings
  • Provide sales support by updating Salesforce with all prospecting activities, contact information, and communications, while also offering general sales representative support and data entry
  • Stay informed about industry trends and Microblink solutions to effectively convey value propositions to prospects

Customer Success focused responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate closely with CSMs and AEs to develop and implement account-specific plans focused on accelerating adoption, enhancing consumption, and maximizing value for clients
  • Foster and cultivate relationships within the existing client base
  • Guide trial subscription clients through onboarding processes and manage the usage and relationship to facilitate conversions
  • Co-prospect with AEs/CSMs to leverage combined expertise and insights for deeper engagement and identification of new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Maintain regular communication channels, such as dedicated Slack channels, weekly one-on-one meetings, and quarterly strategy sessions, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment.
  • Monitor client usage patterns and metrics to pinpoint areas for expansion or optimization

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales position within a SaaS or B2B technology company
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling rapid rapport-building
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a determined drive to achieve and surpass targets
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in conducting thorough research using online and traditional media sources
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar cloud-based Sales tools.
  • Experience in prospecting is a plus
