What we’re looking for:
Iodine Software is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Management  - to join our Infrastructure team. Reporting to VP of IT Strategy and Security, the Director of Infrastructure Management  will be responsible to build and lead an impactful team, supporting a variety of sophisticated systems, infrastructure and applications.

What you’ll do: 

  • Be a player and coach and  lead, communicate, and drive the overall infrastructure vision for high availability and reliability.
  • Develop partnerships with product development within Iodine for the purposes of collaboration, toil elimination, and product/process improvements associated with the hosting and management of operating system and observability platforms.
  • Directly oversee, mentor, & develop SREs on technical leadership, reliability engineering, design engineering, network architecture, problem analysis and customer service, optimization
  • Technical analysis, cost and effort estimation, production environment platform/system design, architectural fit and compliance, resource schedules, delivery achievements, collaboration with other engineering managers, and overall production environment quality
  • Supervise a team of engineers including standard day-to-day responsibilities of the team, career management, and setting operational direction
  • Act as a hands-on top level systems reliability engineer over enterprise level projects
  • Own coordination, development, communication, & strategy sessions with all levels of the organization including senior executives
  • Provide 24X7 production support for product teams and infrastructure  owned services
  • Establish and implement best practice processes and metrics to lead a high performing team

What we’d love to see: 
  • 12+ years’ experience in infrastructure design and management,SRE,DevOps with 8+ years in management
  • 5+ years Experience in design & operation of AWS cloud IaaS and PaaS offerings 
  • Hands-on experience with strong knowledge of automating loud base deployment like Terraform for configuring, building and deploying changes
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Experience with configuration management systems (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible) 
  • Masters in MIS/Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • AWS Solution Architect certification a huge plus
