About the Role

Worldly is seeking a People Team Intern to join our People Team for a 10-week summer internship. This role offers a well-rounded experience across multiple HR functions in a 200-person, fully remote technology company.

Working closely with members of our People Team, you’ll gain exposure to recruiting, HR operations, job architecture, employee experience initiatives, and people analytics. This internship provides the opportunity to contribute to meaningful internal projects while building foundational HR experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

The intern will collaborate with leaders across the People Team and support projects that improve employee experience, strengthen internal processes, and help scale our organization as we grow.

What You'll Do

Projects and scope of work may include:

  • Refreshing job level descriptions and associated titles as part of our job architecture framework

  • Reviewing the company handbook from a new employee perspective to improve clarity and usability

  • Supporting the development and enhancement of new hire orientation programs

  • Assisting with HR system data entry, record keeping, and administrative support

  • Building a custom analytics dashboard in Ashby (ATS) to support recruiting reporting and insights

  • Supporting weekly recruiting analytics and reporting cadence

  • Participating in culture committee initiatives and employee experience programming

  • Researching and exploring wellness programming opportunities for a distributed workforce

  • Assisting with planning for the fiscal year kickoff virtual event

  • Conducting research and benchmarking related to job architecture across professional, technical, and sales roles

The intern will also participate in People Team meetings and cross-functional discussions to gain exposure to the broader HR function in a fully remote organization.

Depending on learning preferences, the intern may choose to:

  • Focus on 2–3 weeks of project work with each People Team member, or

  • Blend work across multiple projects throughout the internship.

What You’ll Gain

This internship offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on HR experience across multiple People functions

  • Work in a fully remote, global startup environment

  • Contribute to meaningful initiatives such as onboarding improvements and wellness programming

  • Learn how HR systems and tools such as Ashby ATS, Paycor and Pave support recruiting and people operations

  • Participate in strategic projects like job architecture development and fiscal year planning

  • Collaborate directly with experienced People leaders and recruiters

We'd Like To See

  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or People Operations

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a business or HR-related academic program

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with different stakeholders

  • A good sense of humor and positive attitude

Nice to have:

  • Early exposure to HR, recruiting, or people operations

  • Comfort working with spreadsheets or data reporting tools
