ABOUT THE LEAD PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR ROLE
Upperline Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate clinic leader to serve as a Lead Patient Care Coordinator. This role blends hands-on patient care with operational leadership to ensure exceptional clinic performance and patient experience.
The Lead Patient Care Coordinator cross-trains as both a Patient Care Coordinator and Medical Assistant while leading daily clinic operations, supporting staff development, and collaborating closely with providers and regional leadership.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy ownership, accountability, and mentoring others within a team-based care environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform Patient Care Coordinator and Medical Assistant duties as needed
- Lead daily clinic operations, staffing coordination, and workflow management
- Serve as subject matter expert for Upperline Plus enrollment and workflows
- Recruit, onboard, train, and support non-provider clinic staff
- Lead clinic huddles and promote strong communication and accountability
- Monitor and drive performance metrics and patient experience outcomes
- Ensure compliance with clinical and operational standards
- Support regional initiatives and provide coverage at nearby clinics as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Coordinator required
- Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a podiatry or orthopedic clinic setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinic workflows
- Experience with EMR systems; AthenaHealth preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation required
COMPENSATION
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with similar leadership roles in the region, based on experience and qualifications.
