About the Treasury Specialist
Upperline Health is seeking a Treasury Specialist, responsible for the day-to-day owner of our treasury transactions, including banking and credit card accounts. This role will interface with our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and corporate accounting functions, as well as other departments that we support to facilitate critical payments and receipts in an accurate and timely manner.
*This is a hybrid position, working out of our Nashville office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
What You’ll Do:
- Daily processing and deposit of patient checks received via the Revenue Cycle Management workflow.
- Handle physical and electronic check deposits for Upperline Health and EHP, ensuring accurate posting to the correct legal entities.
- Verify that all daily deposits align with bank statements and internal ledger entries to maintain a clean cash position.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of check requests within Sage Intacct, ensuring all backup documentation is present and approvals are verified.
- Take ownership of the patient refund check process, coordinating with RCM to ensure overpayments are returned accurately and timely.
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Divvy card platform.
- Conduct regular audits of user spend, receipts, and policy adherence.
- Monitor credit limits, issue new cards, and troubleshoot transaction declines.
- Ensure all card spend is accurately coded to the General Ledger and provide monthly analysis on spending trends and variances.
- Maintain current listing of bank accounts across all entities, users and permissions.
- Assist with maintaining bank accounts across multiple banks, including coordinating information or access requests.
- Act as the main point of contact for banking partners to resolve any statement discrepancies or technical issues.
- Other accounting duties and projects as needed, including cash reporting, reconciliations, journal entries and ad hoc projects.
Qualifications of the Treasury Specialist:
- 2–4 years+ in treasury, cash management, or a high-volume accounts receivable role.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Divvy (Bill.com) is highly preferred.
- An eagle eye for detail—you spot a coding error or a missing endorsement from a mile away.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with RCM, Clinical Operations, and Executive leadership. Proactively identify and communicate errors, fundings and improvement opportunities to Accounting leadership.
