About the Role:
Rentals.ca is looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented Marketing Designer to bring multiple brands to life across a wide range of channels. In this role, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio, developing standout creative that’s both visually compelling and strategically aligned. Join a high-performing, creative team behind Canada’s largest rental listing network, shaping how millions of renters discover their next home. You’ll play a key role in determining how our brands show up across web, social, email, print, and beyond—balancing strong creative thinking with precise execution.
This is a hybrid/remote position, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, however preferential consideration may be given to individuals who can report to one of Rentsync’s regional offices 2 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality creative for web, print, social media, email marketing, digital ads, and other campaign assets
- Develop visual concepts that align with marketing strategies and campaign goals
- Work across multiple brands, adapting to different visual identities while maintaining consistency and quality
- Execute designs that strictly follow brand guidelines while elevating and evolving them where appropriate
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and other teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns
- Optimize creative for performance across platforms, formats, and audiences
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare production-ready files for both digital and print use
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing or graphic design role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple channels (web, social, email, print, digital ads)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (or similar tools)
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
- Experience designing for responsive web and email
- Ability to execute at a high level within established brand guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality across high volumes of work
- Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals and how design contributes to performance
- Fluent in English
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Additional Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Motion design or animation experience (After Effects, etc.)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email or web
- Experience with performance marketing creative and iterative testing
- Agency or multi-brand experience
- Able to report to one of Rentsync's regional offices (Toronto, St. Catharines, Montreal) 2 days per week on average
- Bilingual (English/French)
