JOB TITLE: Interface Senior Analyst

Job Description:

Client is seeking an experienced Epic Interface Analyst to provide technical leadership and support for the development, configuration and ongoing maintenance of Epic Interface application. Core job duties include:

• Evaluate new systems for interface needs; analyze system interface requirements and estimate required work effort.

• Respond to change requests by evaluating requirements and designing modifications to interface logic.

• Understand and adhere to Change Management policies and procedures.

• Understand and adhere to IT Security policies and procedures.

• Provide first and second level support to customers and application technical teams to evaluate and respond to operational issues.

• Monitor critical systems in Production.

• Manage operational issues related to interfaces. Work with development teams to evaluate, design, and implement appropriate solutions, and maintain necessary documentation.

• Maintain the Cloverleaf interface engine including ongoing maintenance and periodic system upgrades.

• Evaluate and implement needed modifications to interfaces in response to upgrades of Epic and other third party vendor systems.

• Develop standards for documentation to ensure recovery capability

• Develop work plan and time schedules for computing projects including outlining phases, identifying personnel, and computing equipment requirements. Monitor progress and revise schedule and plan as needed.

• Identify business system solution requirements by analyzing work processes and operations; evaluate business and information systems functionality.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Epic certification/accreditation in application of support area.

• 5-7 years of programming experience using Cloverleaf, Epic Bridges, and a programming language, such as C or BASIC, in an ambulatory or hospital setting.

• Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to define system requirements, integration requirements and understand business needs .

• Demonstrated experience working with end-users to define system requirements, understand business needs and convert business requirements into functional/technical specifications for complex integrated systems build .

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with technical project management .

• Experience with Critical Access Hospital or Rural Health Clinic workflows.

• Experience communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience adhering to regulatory requirements with respect to system configuration.

• Proven ability to write application test scripts.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience.

Logistics:

• Must be willing to travel to mid-west on a regular basis as needed throughout the implementation and delivery of training

• Location: Client is located in the mid-west / must be willing to work CST

• Start Date: Late April / Early May

• Duration: Contract length pending each specific module initiatives, some projects will be small to large scale implementations that may be up to 12 months.

JOB TITLE: Unified Communications Analyst

Job Description:

Client is seeking experienced Epic Senior/Application Developers to provide technical leadership and support for the development, configuration and ongoing maintenance of Epic Unified Communications applications. Core job duties include:

• Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders to identify critical functional requirements for new or revised communications applications.

• Recommend technical design and procedures for new or revised applications.

• Configure and customize applications.

• Review and analyze system problems to identify solutions and/or make appropriate referrals.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans associated with system development, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Develop and maintain documentation to ensure recovery capability, as well as satisfactory and stable performance of the platform(s) and all applications and processes.

• Travel to customer sites for sustained periods of time to support application implementation, upgrade, and/or optimization

Requirements

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Experience in the development and/or support of applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance healthcare workflows processes typically 5-7 years for Senior Developer in leadership roles including experience with programming tools and a comprehensive understanding of database technologies

• Experience contributing to the support, configuration and development of at least one Epic specific healthcare enterprise application.

• Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to analyze system and integration requirements.

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with basic project management.

• A valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and nontechnical staff; and demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with any of the following workflows: secure chat messaging, automated push notifications, and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) calling.

• Epic certification(s) related but not limited to the following: EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation.

• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects.

• Experience supporting Epic in a Critical Access Hospital or Rural Health Clinic setting.

• Proven ability to write application test scripts.
