Salary Range: $105,000 - $195,000

Base salary is market-driven and determined at the time of offer based on benchmarks such as role-specific market data, company stage, and factors such as internal equity, relevant experience, interview performance, location, and level.

We're expanding our transactional team and looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Transactional Attorney with 3+ years of experience in commercial contracts and/or leases to join us.
Key Responsibilities
This isn’t your average contracts role—we’re not pushing paper; we’re advising health care entrepreneurs on some of the most important decisions of their careers. You’ll work on a wide variety of health care-related contracts, including:
- Practice Purchase Agreements and Partnership Buy-ins/Buyouts
- Commercial Lease Negotiations (new locations, renewals, lease assignments)
- Associate Employment Agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements, and Compensation Structures
- Management Services Agreements (MSAs) and other corporate structuring documents
- Vendor and Service Agreements with marketing agencies, software providers, labs, etc.
- Non-Disclosure Agreements, Letter of Intent (LOIs), and Asset Transfer Documents
- Occasionally, fun curveballs like IP licensing agreements or co-ownership arrangements in real estate
You’ll collaborate directly with clients, help them understand their options, and fiercely advocate for their interests in negotiations.
- Representing our clients in trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Digging into legal research to craft powerful case strategies.
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements that win cases.
- Interviewing clients and witnesses to uncover the facts that matter.
- Participating in depositions and negotiations with poise and precision.
- Advising clients on litigation risks, opportunities, and next steps.
- Keeping case files buttoned up and organized like a pro.
- Staying on top of new laws and trends to keep your edge sharp.
- Collaborating with our stellar team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
- 5+ years of solid litigation experience (bonus points for healthcare or employment law)
- Confident in civil procedure, evidence rules, and courtroom etiquette
- Capable of managing multiple cases and deadlines without breaking a sweat
- Stellar communication skills—both written and verbal
- Strategic thinker with sharp analytical chops
- Self-starter with great attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and fluent in legal research tools
