Job Summary
Earned is hiring a Disability and Life Insurance Producer to support the growth of our physician focused disability and life insurance business. This role is designed for an early career insurance professional who wants real production ownership, high outbound reps, and a clear path to becoming a senior producer.
You will have access to a steady flow of physician relationships and referrals through Earned’s broader platform, alongside significant outbound ownership. Success in this role requires a strong outbound motion paired with the ability to convert warm, referral driven opportunities when they arise.
This is not a meeting setter role. The Disability and Life Insurance Producer owns outreach, conversations, applications, and policies in force, with support from senior producers and case management. Success is measured by policies placed and client outcomes, not activity for activity’s sake.
This role emphasizes an educational, advice first approach. Compensation is intentionally structured, so producers are not paid differently based on policy size or structure, reinforcing trust and alignment with physician clients.
The role is intentionally high intensity and high learning. It is best suited for someone hungry, coachable, and motivated by clear performance expectations and uncapped upside.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Production and Pipeline Development
Spend approximately 70–80 percent of your time on outbound calling, follow ups, and referral driven outreach to physicians and medical professionals. This includes working evenings and occasional Saturdays to meet physicians where they are available. - Inbound Conversion Support
Handle inbound disability and life insurance inquiries and referrals, qualify opportunities, and move them through the application and underwriting process. - Policy Ownership and Execution in Partnership with Client Servicing Team
Own your policies from first conversation through placement and in force status. Serve as a client advocate throughout informal inquiry, application, underwriting, and placement, ensuring a high-quality experience and timely follow through. You will partner closely with our in-house team responsible for getting the policy issued and placed with the client and ongoing servicing. - Collaboration with Senior Producers
Work closely with senior producers on case design, objections, and complex scenarios. As you ramp, you will increasingly run cases independently while contributing to overall team throughput. - Carrier and Product Expertise
Learn and apply own occupation disability insurance concepts, riders, and underwriting strategies, and develop fluency across major disability and life insurance carriers - CRM and Process Discipline
Maintain accurate and timely pipeline tracking, task management, and documentation in Salesforce and related systems to ensure team visibility, accountability, and disciplined follow through - Cross Serve Awareness
As part of a broader physician focused platform, you will develop awareness of related financial services offered by Earned. You may be eligible for additional incentive programs when appropriate client needs are identified and introduced to other teams, though the core focus of this role remains disability and life insurance production.
